Name the scope of each limit
Record whether a ceiling applies to a brand, campaign, channel, day or billing period. Avoid a single unlabeled number that different reviewers can interpret differently.
Plan for the stop state
A pause or kill-switch needs an owner and a safe recovery path.
- Show whether the control is available, pending or active.
- Explain which activity is affected before confirmation.
- Keep a traceable record of limit changes and stop/resume actions.
- Require a fresh review before resuming after a breach.
Verify provider state separately
A local control and an external advertising account are different systems. Confirm the resulting provider state and surface any delay or partial failure instead of assuming the action completed.
